Webin gives authorized staff browser access to the Saleculator database. It also connects the Android waiter app to that database. Choose the application that fits the work you need to do.

How a waiter order reaches the cashier #
- The waiter signs in, chooses a floor and opens a table.
- The app saves order edits on the phone and backs them up through Webin.
- The phone sends KOTs directly to its configured kitchen printers.
- Request Bill sends the order to Saleculator for cashier handling.
- The cashier opens the app order at POS/PDA, checks it and completes billing and payment.
Request Bill does not collect payment. Printing a bill/order summary from the waiter app does not issue a paid receipt. An order marked as imported at POS is not proof of payment.
Sign in to Webin #
- Open the Webin URL supplied by your installer. A local installation may use
http://localhost/webin/on the server, orhttp://192.168.1.50/webin/from another device on the same network. - Use the named Webin account and password configured for your business. Do not assume a shared default password.
- If a page is denied, ask an administrator to check that the user is active and that the assigned role includes that Webin page.
The Android waiter app signs in with a staff PIN. It does not use the browser’s Webin username/password form.
Local, hosted and test installations #
A local installation serves your restaurant network. A hosted installation needs HTTPS and a database connection arranged by your administrator. POS/PDA and Webin must use the same intended database; changing the Webin URL alone does not move your POS data.
webin.saleculator.com is the shared Saleculator test environment. Request test credentials from your administrator. Use sample data there; it is not your restaurant’s production database. Local printers must still be reachable from the phone.
Check the setup #
Confirm that you can sign in, see the expected business data, load floors and menu items in the waiter app, send a test KOT, and import a sample bill request at the cashier. Check the printed paper and the completed sale separately.
